Does Sweepcart eliminate Covid-19?Yes, Sweepcart’s patented WiWell surface and use of safe UVA light creates an environment of artificial photocatalysis that kills Covid-19 and other viruses, as well as 99% of bacteria and pollutants.

What about Delta and Omicron?Yes, Sweepcart is proven to be equally effective with the Delta and Omicron variants.

So Sweepcart uses UV light: isn’t that dangerous?Sweepcart only uses lightbulbs that emit UVA light—the safest of the three types of UV lights: UVA light is also known as long wave light and is used in modern tanning beds. UVB light is strongly linked to cancer and is the chief cause of sunburn and skin reddening. UVC light is the shortest of the three UV rays and is found in welding torches and what older sun beds used.

Will Sweepcart deteriorate trolleys and baskets more quickly?No, the sanitising process prevents the deterioration of the chrome, plastic, or painted surfaces.

Where is Sweepcart made?Sweepcart is made in Italy and is shipped directly from Italy to New Zealand.

Does Sweepcart come with a guarantee?Yes, every Sweepcart is sold with a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee.

Is there any technical support for my Sweepcart?Yes, if there are any issues with your Sweepcart, you can call your salesperson and we will be able to resolve most issues within 48 hours.

How much maintenance does Sweepcart require?None! The estimated life of Sweepcart’s internal lamps is 5000 hours of effective use, about 5 years in a supermarket.

What else do I get with my Sweepcart unit?You will also receive point-of-use communication, so your customers will be well-informed on how to use Sweepcart.

Can Sweepcart sanitise more than just trolleys?Yes, Sweepcart has proven effectiveness sanitising trolleys as well as any goods in trolleys, baskets, wheelchairs and much more! Furthermore, given Sweepcart is coated with WiWell technology on its exterior as well, the surrounding environment is sanitised: one unit provides the equivalent benefit of 5 tall trees planted in the area.

Where should a Sweepcart station be located?Sweepcart is best installed inside and at the entrance to your institution, where the unit can sanitise its environment and also be easily utilised by your customers. There may also be a preference for your customers to sanitise their purchases/luggage upon their departure; or sanitising the purchases of customers using click and collect or delivery. We can provide artwork packages for stickers upon request, should you wish to mark click and collect groceries with the ‘Sweepcart Sanitised’ tick of approval.

What if someone crawls into the Sweepcart?Motion and heat sensors prevent Sweepcart from operating while living intrusions are present.

How much does Sweepcart cost?Price is available on application. Please contact us through the contact page.

What is the lead-time on Sweepcart?Within several days if there is stock in New Zealand. If not, given Sweepcart is manufactured in Italy, the lead-time is approximately 3 to 4 months.
